Day 30 rehab (Kelly) - Rumours

Rumours of my death have been GREATLY exaggerated, to quote dear Mark Twain!

AASHARON > I posted earlier! You must be so busy cutting the grass that you overlooked my posting!

Just out of 2 afternoon classes!

Talked about the benefits of going to lots of meetings, and the benefits of good nutrition, etc.

How is the weather in good ol' Louisiana?!

I get my 1 month chip at the AA meeting this evening - I shall need my cane to walk up and get it, unfortunately...darn herniated discs in my back.

Just a few days left in rehab!

Back later,

Kelly

Good to see your enjoying being sober. After getting out of rehab, what are you going to do to stay sober, if I don't mind asking besides AA?

Yey for 30 days..!!!!! That's a few one days @ a time
added together to get u where you are today.

I had hip replacement 2 yrs ago and had to use a cane
and walker for a few months, but exercise and following
directions healed me quickly.

Serenity is found in my backyard where I have hummingbird
feeders and a large wooden bird house on a pole that feeds
many many doves and Cardinal and Blue Jays and other pretty
birds. Since I love the color red, i have lots of red mini roses
blooming. I sit outside and just admire the beauty of the birds
in flight as they zoom in and out of the yard. It is so peaceful
and with much gradtude to enjoy them in my recovery makes
it even more amazing.

Find your peace and serenity when you go home for three days.

It will make all your troubles disappear for the moment.

Glad you clarified the disc is why you need the cane..I was thinking you have not aged that much in 30 days!! You have worked hard for that chip...I am happy for you.

Rather odd question. What else do you need other than the spiritual program of action found in the Big Book of Alcoholic's Anonymous? Like asking what doesn't God do?

Congrats Kelly.

But I'm sad about Hoping2Quit. I'm assuming he'll be back.
