Thanks for sharing your story. I found it hard to tell my story just 11 days ago. I also felt I had no one to talk to or no one to listen. This place has help me in many ways. I was also a master of hiding my drinking..or so I thought. I know you will feel welcomed and supported here. Glad your here and stay strong..We will make it through this together.

Towards 5pm yesterday - I was feeling the urge to have a drink, but I bought two appletizers, cooked supper and watched Top Gear. I got through it just fine - slept like a baby and still proud of myself today :-) Here's to day 8!

Hi Laura, I haven't got much time this evening but just wanted to say hi form a fellow South African!! I left SA after an armed robbery in our house where I had a gun held to my head and truly thought they would kill me. Anyway, I am very new to this site (and sobriety) so lets go on this journey together
