I am new to SR
Hey everyone, I am going to AA everyday and just got a sponsor and am loving my new outlook on life! Only 8 meetings in 7 days under my belt. So, I was asked to start a journal by my Mom, but I don't do journaling with pen and paper very well. I do Blogs though! I wish I could share my new blog site here now but I have to have 15 posts first! I will try to do that, but if you want to see it, let me know via email maybe and I can share site with ya!

Congratulations on your week sober and welcome to the forum!
I don't journal or blog, but I can see how it would be very helpful. It's nice to post in the forums, too, because you get lots of feedback and support.

When I went through the 12 Steps of AA steps 3 and 4 alone were over 100 pages. I have gone back and re-read my 12-steps many times. When I dont make a meeting, I read them again. I think your Mom has a wonderful idea! "We will not forget the past or shut the door on it." Use what you write as a tool to help you in your sobriety now and for many years to come!
