I plan on attending one meeting at 10am tomorrow and possibly another at noon before work. I'll see which one I feel more comfortable in. The court sent my arraignment to my old address so I had a bench warrant out so I took care of that today. Hoping the meeting will give me a little better feeling about life tomorrow. Im feeling pretty down.
Jeremichi,
You have been sober 48 days!!!!!!
That is wonderful. You got the message! Some people have to get so many bricks up the side of the head before getting it.
Now go and face the music, and assuming you didn't drive home with the officer on the hood, you will be OK.
And as for AA, soundest bunch of peeps around. You can just take your time. Try not to run as soon as the meeting is over. Thank the "speaker"/"chair", and shake their hand after the meeting. Lot's of people do this so it will be a little ice-breaker for you. Remember, they are just like you. Big hugs.
Oh, and don't drink and drive, you will spill it.

I'm kind of excited and nervous at the same time. After court today I've just been crazy anxious. I'm fine with whatever happens legally as long as I keep my job. I plan on sticking with staying sober regardless. I remember going to group meetings with my mom when I was a kid which really hurts.
