Putting out a challenge
Ok, I completed the days assignment......... I bought myself a Monster energy drink instead of the cheaper grocery store brand........I am also making my boyfriend take me out to dinner!!!!!!!
Good Morning. VC- I Stopped by Wendy's and got a frosty. OMG that thing was AWESOME. I am going to have to start working out more so I can do that more often. Thanks for the suggestion. I hope that everyone has an outstanding sober day.

Hey all, been a couple days since I've posted. I have been sick, while being sick is a bummer I didn't feel like drinking. I guess that is one good thing about it.
Wow this thread just seems to keep getting bigger, I am a week in again non looking back this time.
Good luck all and stay sober.

Yep, still on board
Did anyone discover (when sober) how little time they have?
It seemed (previously) that all the days gelled together and yet nothing ever got done...
Now, I seem to have 25 hours in a day - do so much, and yet, ...still nothing gets done LOL
But it really feels good!!!
ps - my challenge... I ate some cheese! heh I know it's nothing much but oh boy, it was good. I've been on a diet and exercise frenzy since March 1st and I've lost 6 kilos!
(err can I get a WOOT?)
Stick with it mates

I am still here. Just enjoyed one of those sober weekends that Smudg described. I am so busy and there is never enough time in the day.
I hope that everyone is doing well. 5 weeks for me today. "They" were right. Those days do turn into weeks.

well its off to another AA meeting. I kind of like being able to tell people about being what I am. knowing that they are the same makes it a comfortable environment.

Oh and good job Dave 5 weeks is impressive

Morning everyone. 42 days today. Hard to imagine. I am going to see Elton John this Sunday and it will be my first sober concert ever! I am really looking forward to it.
Wander, keep it up, whatever it takes. It's worth it.
IWL, Smudg, Lookin and anyone else........keep up the great work!

VC- I am finding that the more stuff that I do sober. The more I am liking being sober. Enjoy Elton John. It will be awesome. Give him a woot woot for me!
Wander- Thank you! I get what you are saying about people like us. There is definitely a comfort in knowing that we are not alone. It actually makes me stronger for my internal battles when the bad voice shows up. Which is happening less and less. Thank goodness.
Dee, Smudg, Iwlsast, VC, Wander and everyone else.
May the road rise to meet you,
May the wind be always at your back,
May the sun shine warm upon your face,
The rains fall soft upon your fields and,
Until we meet again,
May God hold you in the palm of His hand.
Have a happy sober one.
