On Day three and passed a test!

I am only on day three of sobriety but I didn't normally drink much during the work week.. But....... Tonight my drinking buddy and his family asked us out to dinner with him since non of us have to work tomorrow. My wife said we would go and I was panicing to get there before they did because past practice is whoever gets there first orders the first BIG beer. I did not want that beer sitting in my seat when I got there. I am taking it slow with people and don't want to just start telling everyone I am done drinking forever. I am afraid this will make them feel awkward. Long story less long we got there first and I just ordered a diet coke and they were shocked to see me do this. They just kind of brushed it off and the evening went fine. I little different because I was actually able to drive the family home instead of handing over the keys to my wife or driving myself.... SR is proving to be really powerful for me... Thanks to all of you!
