this my first day
I am know to this web site and I think it will be really helpful. This morning I got my first shot of Vivitrol at my doctors. I am also alcoholic wine drinker. I wish I would/could have stopped years ago.
This has been a very long 1st day but I am good for today.

Hi Chrissy and welcome to the forum - I wish I would have gotten sober and stayed that way a long time ago as well, but we have to pat ourselves on the back for doing it now.

What you want you will find here. People who have been through what you have. Hope you have an easy detox, and glad you are under the care of a doc. I am not familiar with what you're using to ameliorate the withdrawal symptoms and hope it makes it smooth for you. Let us know how it goes.
