Not really new here, but trying again
Hola everyone! I visited this site and posted once before a few months ago but I fell off the bandwagon once work started getting hectic. Not the best time to stop using the wonderful support that everyone here gives.
The last few weeks have been me sneaking drinks around my husband and having up to two bottles of wine a night. WTF?! I'm only 26! How do I expect to go living this way? I woke up feeling grumpy and knowing that I need to stop NOW.
I hate:
- not being there for my husband
- the way I feel in the morning
- my attitude when I am drinking
- sneaking around
- not working to my fullest potential
- not getting work done and not being productive
- not exercising because I "feel gross"
- a multitude of other things.
This long weekend off of work is going to be tough for me but not having the stress of work and school work is really going to help me start with being sober.
One day at a time and today is day 1.
