ahhhhh!!!!! i cant stand this!!!

Well today is day 10 of the lorcets recovery, everything was going fine, untill my hubby got his meds filled, just knowing that he has them is awful. But we did not take any, and not going to. He is going to tell his Doc about this so that he will not get them anymore. He had his mom come over and get them out of the house. I don't know why he even got them filled. But I have realized my triggers and I am trying to stay away. I was doinf fine until about 7p.m. now all I want todo in craw under the covers and sleep. So happy to be off work tomorrow. My brother called me today, it was weird cause it like he knew I needed someone to talk to, he gives me so much strength. I'm just really down now, my doc is putting me on wellbutrin, so I don't no if that will help with how I'm feeling. The road to recovery is hard, but it will be well worth it in the end. I just hope that each day gets easier. Thanks everyone for listening, just depressed and needed to vent alil. One day at a time.

It sounds like you are finding your way, but you are right, the road isn't always easy.

Hang in there, and you will feel better!

((GaPeach)) - yes, the road to recovery IS hard, but I PROMISE you, it's worth it. I'm sorry you're having a hard day...:ghug3

Even though I've got a 3 years, I have days where I just say "enough" and chill out in bed for an evening or even a day. Early recovery is tough..your mind and your body are going through a lot. Yes, knowing he got the pills filled IS going to mess with your mind. I hope he DOES let his dr. know, or even the pharmacy..it's a big step, but it's a major step in recovery.

I'm glad your brother called..sounds like just what you needed.

Take a deep breath, be grateful you're going to sleep clean, and will wake up the same ways. When I was first in recovery, there were some tough days, I wasn't exactly grateful about a lot, but I could always be grateful for being clean. As the days went by, I found more and more to be grateful about. It really does help to find these things...takes the focus off of what we're no longer doing.

Hugs and prayers!

Amy
