Hello Everyone

Hello everyone....I've not been posting like I used to in the past and am making a concerted effort, starting today, to include this site as part of my daily recovery. I really found reading others posts and sharing my own to be very helpful in maintaining sobriety...I'm not really sure why or how I got away from it....too "busy" I guess...but I'm here now. There's a lot of things I'd like to share and listen to others about...but I'm at work right now ( which is a good thing!) Considering I was asked to resign from a 16 year professional position a litltle over 2 years ago this March- I was caught under the influence at work..TWICE...I am grateful to be employed at this time...talk to you all soon. ROB

I remember you very well, Rob. It's great to see you back and wanting to post more. I've checked in here every day since finding SR in Aug. '07 & I don't want to find out what might happen if I stopped. There have been times I haven't felt like "tuning in" but always do - and usually I end up getting involved and spending time here.

Glad to hear your life is better now. Look forward to hearing how it's been going.

I fully understand - at first I was almost as obsessed about SR as I was about drinking. The last two weeks or so I was just too busy to do a lot of reading and posting. I will have to make the effort for at least a few minutes, it's too important to me. So are the people on here and also, I really don't want to become complacent in my recovery. That is what made me relapse before and there's no way I would want that to happen again. Well done for remembering too how important this site is.

I'm glad to hear you're working right now Rob, many people are not so fortunate.

Sometimes I feel too busy in recovery with all the meetings, service work, fellowship, sponsorship, and SR. But to find out what might happen if I get away from it....

Uh uh no way, life is so much better, even if it is a little busy
