Congrats TB. We have been together for a while now, and we are both doing it. Amazing how one day at a time works huh? I am so proud of you and for what you have done. I would imagine you got a 30 day medallion at your AA meeting? Or you will at your next one? Hold on to that tight. They say in our AA groups. "If you feel like drinking, put this medallion in your mouth and when it melts, you can have a drink." haha.
Best of luck, and I look forward to many more sober days with you.

Now it's 31... they seem to be coming easier now.
But harder, in a way I can't fully explain. I think I've finally realized that I might never drink again, and even though I didn't want to, that realization is scary and makes the world seem less predictable...
Not sure if that makes sense at all, but if I'm halfway into battle, might as well just run forward. And now that I've got school to do, it's been so much easier (all 1.5 days of it hehe).
Take care y'all & I thank y'all again for all y'all support.

You think? As soon as you take the first step in AA, and admit you are powerless, you don't "think," you KNOW! And once you know, what a GIFT!!! And just some advice, don't look at it as "never drinking again" but look at it as not drinking TODAY. That is it, just today. Tomorrow has enough worries without adding drinking to it to make it worse.
