I've set my quit date for jan 2nd..........
dont have alot of booze left in the house...........so when they are gone, I'm giving it my all
frankly I dont know why the sam H I just dont pour them out when I get home from work.......
spent the last 2 weeks (forcing myself) not to have a drink during the day (successfully)
and blew it on (of all days) Christmas
am so livid with myself its unbeliveable

You definetly need to have some type of plan.
Have you spoken to your doctor? Have you thought about AA? I don't go to AA, but many people here do and their experience with it seems to be very positive.
What are you going to do when you get the urge to drink? I found that I had to change my entire routine while at home.

Some good advice here already - I always recommend people see their doctor, and do think about a face to face support group in addition to SR.

Hi i had to change what was inside to be able to help myself which is why i go to AA, if i could have stopped without doing so i would have done that very thing in the last 20 years before...good to see you reaching out for help:-)
