Hi evryone, i have just joined and i hope im posting this in the right place ! I am here because of my husband. He is a cocaine addict. And i so need to talk to other people about it all, before i go nuts ! I feel so lonley at times.
We have been together for 7 years and married for nearly four. He doesn't use drugs all the time, but something will set him off and he will go on a bender for up to a week or even 9 weeks. He spends all his money on it. He cant have a drink without the drugs. He is a binge drinker and thats when he want the drugs too. He just goes into self destruct mode. And he can be very controlling. We are getting help at the moment for him, but i need help to cope! and suffer from deperssion
I hope i am in the right place.

Caitsith for online support I strongly suggest you go to SR's Friends & Families Forums, I would also urge you to go to Alanon or Naracon to get support and guidance for others in the same situation as you. Freinds & Family members need to recover as well as alcoholics and addicts, they can actually recover before the alcoholic or addict.

I'm glad your husband is getting help, but yeah - you need help and support too

I think AlAnon or NarAnon would be a good thing - it's important for us all to have support and know we're not alone - and face to face support is great.

We do have Family and Friends forums tho, like Taz said (you're not in the wrong place here tho - these are just some more places to go as well)
