Thanks for sharing that Adore, I always listen/read very closely anything to do with a relapse.

It is time for me to revisit the first step and powerlessness.
It is probably time to sit down with your sponsor and really take a close look at taking step one to heart, so many folks misunderstand that step, it is a past tense statement and not present tense "We admitted we WERE powerless over alcohol", once our sanity is restored we no longer need to fight alcohol, we come to a neutral feeling about it and fully aware that drinking is not an option for us ever again...... of course this is but a daily reprieve contingant upon our spiritual fitness.
