To shed some light on yourselves... I will be your hope, no I am not going to preach, but something I have learned... since I cannot use this advice because it's too late for me, you may find use for it instead.

Rely on people if you must in life,
But never ever forget,
YOU are your best ally,
Continue to improve yourself enough to survive,
So you always can defend yourself,
