People here are amazing. I can be so insensitive and self obsessed and downright rude and still a hand is extended to me again and again.
Its so humbling and inspiring.
You are amazing to me.

SR has been very important to me in reaching 39 days of sobriety. I'll be at a wedding all weekend with my wife's über-drinking extended family. I may sneak away a time or two, finds some Wi-Fi, and sign into SR. Even if I can't, my loyalty to my sobriety and all the great people here will help me overcome this challenging few days.

(Not necessarily the part about you being insensitive, self obsessed and downright rude!!!)
"'The outer circle denotes a universal and total program that has room within it for all manifestations of the recovering person.'" ~pg. ix, N.A. Basic Text
"'As we lay aside these very human aspirations, we believe that each of us takes part in the weaving of a protective mantle which covers our whole society and under which we may grow and work in unity.'" ~ pg. 187, A.A. 12 & 12
The benefits of sharing our lives together makes our recovery stronger and more productive!!

Yep, we sure are a great bunch aren't we
SR is an important part of my life, is there a history thread in regards to the main founders & the other people that are behind the scene (hosting the forums, taking care of the site etc.)?
I would like to thank them, they have helped so many here.
Great job all

Jon moved on tyler. Yep I was sitting here thinking a history thread or forum would be interesting.
Perhaps NB could interview people about SR's interesting funny inspiring and naughty goings on and write it for us?

I feel right at home here. Just like my groups at the Mental Health Clinic...a rewarding and Very interesting experience.
Just tool a look & nothing on Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia for soberrecovery.com
maybe some of the people in the know could start one up for people to add to.
