Bless your heart....Your post touched my heart, it gave me goosebumps and brought a tear to my eye.
Please don't think of yourself as to not being worthy enough to accept all that you have been given by these amazing women...they understand you more than you think. They too have had their first day attending a meeting....You are also as special to them as they are special to you.
Sounds like you found where you need to be....keep going and get the help you deserve.

thank you all, i've been trying to convince myself to go to a meeting for years now--i am going to just go!! i don't know what i'm afraid of?? best to you all. i will not drink today.

Hi Jade - good luck and please let me know how it went for you. I've been doing a lot of thinking today about my meeting. The thing I came up with is that I can really only expect good things to happen for me by surrounding myself with all these great people.

I'm easily intimated, but it helps to realize they're not perfect either.
