Thank you all for these..

Last evening when I took my token at my home group AA meeting, there was a

newcomer there with 48 hours' sobriety. As I shared my story a bit..I stopped and and

told him that I wasn't the most important celebrant present..he was!

And to keep coming back. It is so joyous to see a newbie come in and seek help.

All of you are so special to me...the ones I've come to know well and the new ones.

I am just grateful..if my obtaining 3 years inspires someone here to stay clean and

sober another day..then it is worth it all!!!!!!!!

I'm sitting here in the hotel business centre feeling a bit sorry for myself. All my work friends are out at the pub eating, drinking, and laughing.

"Something" told me that it wasn't a good idea to "test" my sobriety by going out with them.

So I read your post and it gives me that little extra strength!
