Yikes.. I'll keep my AA opinions totally to myself here and just go with the "let us know what she says after you talk to her" thing

What in the world!? arghh. That's all!

Linda, I questioned this too and her answer is simply, "You have NOTHING to say in your 1st 30 days". She wants me to wait until I'm ingrained in the solution and share about that. At 1st, this did not sit well with me whatsoever, but I'm okay with it now... I've never really taken direction well and have seen my disease skyrocket at a downhill pace over the last 4-5 years - have been drinking much longer than that but more hard core these last few years. If I gotta put the cotton in my mouth and just listen for a few, I can do that. You can bet after the meetings I will be "on it" to socialize! LOL.

I want sobriety! I'm 42 and there's still some good life in me, God willing, if I get my sh-- together now. I'll take some G.O.D. - Good, orderly advice right now, even if I don't like it or agree fully with it. She offers a lot of great stuff in sponsorship, I think... This is all new for me, to actually "work" with a sponsor and not just ask someone and then never pick up the phone or work the program. Thanks for your question! Glad you're here!

Nicki!

17 years in...and out of the rooms..6 sponsors.

Fired one. "Lost touch" with the others when I dropped out.

Never stayed sober..until now.

You are on the right track.
