Still feeling remorseful and shame-faced about the other day.

I made myself pretty ill too. Starting with meetings again tomorrow. Gotta keep on trying.

Stoney, never give up. Keep coming back trying. It will eventually stick. But never give up on yourself. I nearly did, but I have a huge stubborn streak and that was my saving grace I think. I felt hopeless, like a loser, but kept coming back anyway. And now I'm doing very well and feel hopeful for my life and my future. We won't give up on you, please don't give up on yourself!

Ended up going to a meeting this morning and glad I did or I might never have gotten out of bed. I've got a sinus infection or something - Gyps would be proud - I have been neti-ing constantly but am in pain!
Did some yardwork, housework, and the meatloaf is in the oven. It feels good to have accomplished some stuff.

Had fun this afternoon. Went to a college marching band concert (indoors) and it was great. Went with mom and brother. It's an annual free concert and always lots of fun. I love marching bands - even when they're not marching! Now it's time to kick back and enjoy the evening.

Oh yeah, my wonderful neighbor has a big vacuum attachment for his yard tractor. He just vacuumed up the leaves from my back yard! I love my neighbors and my neighborhood!

Morning all! Woke up feeling a bit sick, but since it wasn't hangover-sick I'm alright. I'll be SO GLAD when this election is finally over! And I don't have television so haven't been subjected to all those ads! This election feels like the Civil War - pitting family members and neighbors against each other. Well, it's almost done with. Let's hear it for a happy ending!

Stoney....that was a very brief check in .... alot like mine

Personally...i think life sucks right now...but I'm sober and sometimes thats all that matters for a while....it will get better if i keep doing the things that work for me at least at a minimal level!

Grateful for the bottoms :ghug3

I am counting the hours to the end of the US elections. It will be safe to turn the telly on again.

I shouldn't worry too much about who get's elected. You have a wonderful self balancing governmental system and no-one is going to be able to get too out of control.

Well, enjoy! Can't decide who I would vote for in your shoes. I expect I would stay home and do nothing like I do in our elections, and then complain bitterly about the government for the next 4 years!
