Ananda, I love your mom! Anyone who let raccoons live in the attic, for company, is my kinda person! I had a mama raccoon and her kid living in my attic years ago. We used a live trap and released them in a woods miles out of town. You mom is 'way cool'!! :ghug3

Have you or your mom ever read a great kids' book called RASCAL by Sterling North, a true story of a boy's childhood - the time he shared with a raccoon he named Rascal. It's a wonderful story, makes me cry.

hey least...haven't read the book....mom really liked them, but there were 6...5 males and 1 female and they did about 20K damage to the house. She had them caught and released like you described......they started out thinking it was just two (cause she heard the fighting which is why she figured she had to get them removed)...the catcher guys couldn't believe there were 6!

Actually it guarantees we'll be vodka drinkers and sausage eaters from birth

Dad used to play albums of Hitler's speeches full blast. Scared the neighbors to death. Mom and the boys would go hide and hope that nobody noticed!

Gyps-that's hilarious!LOL

Hi idiots! amazing what a good nights sleep can do for a person.Geez-I was so tired yesterday.

I have no German blood in me-but I'm half Polish believe it or not! ( my father was adopted-so my surname isn't Polish. It should be Jablonski apparently)

Hope you're all doing well.I'm still catching up.

Oh-and Stoney-buy shoes from a store next time-LOL.I'm sure they have an 'exclusive' range in some stores there! Bummer tho.

we thought we were scotish for many years and did alot of research on the family name....then we found out that our granddad was illegitimate and we had no relationship to the family name

Granddad was 85 before he told us cause it was considered such a horrible thing by his generation...everyone always saying how lucky he was that his family was so good to him considering he was a ******* (in other words he was treated as a less than and lucky to have that!)
