I found what helps me too. Is I will go back and read my old threads when I was at my lowest.
It is a real wake up for me. And I see how far I have come. Not just by the days we dont use. But how we have grown.
I read some of mine and just shake my head at myself.
Reminds me of where I dont want to be anymore.

Im picking up my key tonight and Im really excited about it. I cant wait to get the hell out of whee I am and away from Jon and all his friends. I decided not to tell anyone but rosemary where Im moving to. People are pusshing me for the address, but thats got to be no for now.
Excited about the move, but I recieved a notice from the courts today that Im being sued for an old credit card debt. So thats kinda put a wrench in the works. Just like I said with every achievement comes another challenge. I sort of feel like using today, but I know its a stupid thing to do. I dont want to be High, but the thought of taking a hit keeps running through my little pea brain today. Im sure the feeling will pass, but its kind of annoying to me cause Im like totally distracted in the midst of all the good things going on in my life.

Yea..you really dont want uninvited guests invading your new space.

I hope you stick to your guns on that. Last thing you need is people looking for a place to get wasted.
When you get those thoughts. Just take a minute and sit daown and just look around you. Look what you have accomplished. Then think about what it will end up like. You know as well as I do it only takes one hit. And its a wrap.
Credit card companies cant get what you aint got. And most of them will work out a payment plan. Even if its 10 bucks a month. They want their money. They will do whatever works.

I got sued for a credit card debt. At first, they INSISTED I pay them $200/month. I told them I could pay $100/month and that was all I could do. They took it. It's over $4000 and will take me forever to pay off, but it will get paid off. A friend told me once I get the balance down, they will usually take a settlement, for about half what you owe because they'd rather get money faster.

Im pretty much settled in and I love it. I am so happy and feeling pretty rlaxed for a change. I Went shopping today to buy all the little incidentals I need, and I felt ten feet tall. I cant believe I pulled this off. Things seem to be getting better everyday.
I still have to get my computer hooked up, probably will get what I need for that at the end of the week.
Things are really looking up. I decided not to stress about $ right now. I worked hard for this and I think its time for me to enjoy a little.
