Spa treatments?
I am incredibly lucky to have a gift certificate to a local spa that I have saved since Christmas. Can anyone suggest any spa treatments that may help in sobriety? I have been sober for 11 days now.

there is something called a detox (I think) that is to remove toxin and I've hear is good...haven't had one.
However, my first day home after treatment I got a full body massage...first one ever...and I loved it. I get one once a month now and it is really special to my sobriety. Part of it is treating myself...something I never did when I was drinking.
Enjoy what ever option you choose!:ghug2

We had a Yoga instructor at rehab and I'm hoping to get into a Yoga class once my girls go back to school next month. I found that a lot of the relaxation techniques help me in my daily life.

You absolutely deserve to find pleasure in other things right now! Spa day sounds FABULOUS!! Go for whatever pleases you the most...you're working hard on this, so treat yourself! For me, it's a massage....or a pedicure. I'm on Day Four (yea!!) and got all dressed up today...did the hair/make-up/heels/dress route....nice to wake up and not be as wrinkly from being all dehydrated from the night before.
