No more alcohol for me since July 4th.
Day 3
Good morning all - it's the morning of my 3rd sober day and for the record - I have no desire to drink.
Spent quite a bit of time on the forum yesterday reading and learning about alcohol addiction. I find the support and compassion of the contributing members truly awsome, and helpful to all of us stuggling towards sobriety.
Thanks!

Update
Well I've been up and functioning, if you can call it that, since 7 A.M. this morning. Overall:
- no desire to drink
- lower back pain all but gone
- body aches all but gone
- eating is regular and pretty normal
- digestive system has settled down significantly
- slept okay last night
- stamina improving, but I've got a ways to go
- still have some foggy moments, but typically thinking clearly
Waiting to see what the next 24 hour has in store for me.

Hey Dreamchaser! Welcome here. I had a similar situation, and am feeling friggin' awesome since I quit my Crown Royal habit. So far the temptations have been strong, but I haven't looked back. When I get the urge, I come here and type what I'm feeling and read other posts. It's a great help..
