Ahhhhh..The simple pleasures in life.
Today My 1 yr old lil cousin getting into any and everything. Yes mischievous as all heck.
But I'd rather chase this little beauty than drugs.
Cover her in kisses and listen to her try and say my name..."Tis Ta"
I am sure this is just the beginning of more to come today.
I just woke up. And what a great wa y to do so.
Here's my little boogie woogie girl.

Great thread. The thing that's great about today is there's nothing I HAVE to do except get my son to day camp so he can go to the zoo for the day with his friends. I may do gardening if the weather holds up.

~My two year old reaching his hand up to mine earlier...the innocence is unparalleled. Just reached right on up and put his little hand in the air knowing I'd take it....like God took my hand afterwards when the urge to drink came over me and I reached up to Him... and out to you.

awesome post, and the little one is adorable!! If my dog was there, she'd be fighting you for a banana popsicles.
Dad is out of town, and since I'm having to use his computer (the network won't let me log on from my laptop) have been having a blast just talking with my stepmom. We've laughed, got a little teary eyed (talking about our mom's and her youngest daughter, all gone). It's been a long time since we just sat and talked....the whole time I was on/off SR and she was watching TV, but neither stopped us from solving all the problems in the world.
Got my room cleaned up...way past due! Found some clothes I'd forgotten I had. I can go back to work tomorrow night feeling like I've accomplished something.
Now I can curl up in bed, watch TV, and have Elvis snuggle up on me. Life is good!
