It's such a relief to have a safe place to let out my whines. Woke up this morning to the house a complete wreck, with clothes towels and crap all over the bathroom and 'crash pad' daughter's clothes all over the living room. I need to vacuum but can't until she picks up her junk! She said she moved back here to "help me out" but it seems she's only helping me out of my mind. Sick of lazy sloppy kids taking advantage of my state of mind.
Sick to death also of looking for work that doesn't seem to exist... or if it does, they don't want to hire me - I'm too old.

Well - my whine is that i did such a good job of mowing my lawn while the lawn lady was out of town that she isn't going to do mine anymore! Just what i need...another task to do in my schedule that doesn't have any space left!!!!! argggggg (but still grateful i'm better)

I have a massive sunburn from going to the cape swimming, boating and fishing the last few days.....AND escaping the heat

oh yes the fishing was great and my freezer is now so full of stripers and bluefish I can hardly close it
I am finally learning to do all of the above sober. Must be one of the gifts of sobriety.

no - had to call the cops on a rowdy wedding party at the hotel the last night I worked is all ... LOL
Just confirmed that I'd done the right thing quitting and all.
I'm home all week this week under orders to pretend there's nothing stressful in my life at all. Just see what happens.

jail is just one of those life experiences I've never felt the need to have.
I am pretty sure I won't be lying on my death bed saying,
"gee, I wish I'd have done that whole jail thing...."
I'm enjoying my week without stress -

(((Barb))) - I'm so glad you're getting a stress-free week and that jail wasn't an option you were thinking of (BTDT...you wouldn't like it). We've been breaking heat records all week...do you want me to send some your way?
I need to look for another job. My resume is lost in cyberspace, and since I was kinda in a drug induced haze there for a while, will have to try to remember where and when I worked.
