Sleep

In the beginning, what can you do to help with sleeping? Most of us still have to function in our jobs and our families throughout this journey & sleep deprivation on top of everything else is tough. Any suggestions for this symptom of detox?

I found reading a book for an hour and a half each night, or falling asleep to a movie if you have a t.v in your room, i try not to depend on meds, i also find working out before bed also works, a few sets of 12 crunches, a few sets of pushups, a few sets of sit ups, and what ever else you use for working out

In my experience the first couple days at least are gonna suck. I come here on SR, try to relax, read the big book, and play something really monotonous, like a DVD on director's commentary in the background.

I'm looking forward to good nights of sleep again, that was so awesome.

Best of luck to you.
