Glad you are here Kerry,
The first time somebody comes into a meeting and says, "liars, you told me it would get worse but it was great", I'll follow that person out....
In the past few years I've been to about 400 meetings, hasn't happened yet and the club I go to has alot of relapse meetings.
I'm an alcoholic...not the word.... but the thing. Seems like if I start losing touch with my meetings and fellowship alcoholism starts to become just a word. I forget about the bad stuff and start thinking.... (if you're alcoholic you know the thoughts).
I have to remember where my disease takes me, seeing people coming back into the rooms helps do that. Working my program (sharing, stepwork and service) seems to do the rest.
