Ambien can be a dangerous sleep drug stoney. I've never tried it but someone close to me has. It caused anmesia and 'odder' behavior & mood swings. I don't even want to try it even though it's been pushed at me.It doesn't seem to agree with your mum IMO. On the other hand, she might try taking it while in bed and waiting to fall asleep instead of still pottering about the kitchen.
Don't worry about what your mum has seen. Like Dee said above... you have been sober more than not
. Mother's love their sons anyway so don't dwell dear.

I was prescribed ambien when I first quit drinking, they didnt make me sleep but made me horribly stoned the next day, short term memory was completely bolloxed, no 'high' tho
. I only took a them for a few nights and then stopped.
I did suggest she take them when already in bed, lol!
I hope the Doc doesnt prescribe any more.

Went to the doctor. He said I have something that I can't remember the name of. Something about the nerves. who knows? He gave me steroids for it. I'm sure to be buff by next week.

to everyone and let you know I'm still around.
I hope you feel better soon Tanya. I have to get my own arse to the Dr. I've lost weight. I don't know why. Most people gain a lot of weight when they quit drinking. My wedding rings are really lose on me now. I'm scared of them falling off. I'm scared of Dr's. thought.

If you were to ask an engineer (IMHO - most cannot talk about feelings and think in squares in a round world) the glass is not half full and it is not half empty
