Sorry dont have time to read whole thread.
I just wanted to add because I was thinki9ng the same thing a couple weeks ago.
And I really gave it some thought.
And my opinion is. It isnt testing me harder now.
I always had this crap going on. I was just too high and didnt care to know, see, or feel it.
And now I am facing all my past and present BS without runnibg from it. Or numbing it.
It's always been there. I choose to deal with it now.
And it sucks. But if I expect to be a better sober person and move forward.
Then I have no choice but to face it head on.

So I went to my first NZ meeting today! I was hoping to go the 11am meeting, but I ended up getting lost (even though I got directions!) these one way streets messed me up, I drove around for about 45 minutes until I would have been so late anyways should I have found it and went to the Museum instead, that was real nice. Then caught the tail end of the Chinese New Year celebration parade. Went home and then checked on line and saw there was a 7:30pm meeting at the same place, this time I called a taxi theres no way I was going to miss this by not finding the place or parking etc. Made it on time, it was a hour and half meeting, went well, was called to share. Met another guy from the states there and we went out for tea afterwards, know alot of the same people in the California rooms. It was great. Now I have a new sober friend since I cant be associating with my workmates anymore since they party way to hard for me to be around now. Anyways, thanks for listening sand for all your help and advice!
Talk soon!
