You know what's pretty freakin' cool?
25 days is awesome - congratulations, and enjoy Christmas!
Christmas Day here, Day 9 for me, feel fantastic - waiting for kids to come around so we can do presents...
Hope you all have a fantastic, enjoyable, sober, memorable Christmas. If anyone cracks, I know I'll understand, but for me right here - this is perfect. (actually, far from it, but I'm just havin' too much fun to argue haha!)

It does get much better. But I will never forget how bad my hangovers were. For several years I would get the dry heaves every morning and on the weekends the first drink always came back up and then I was good to go the rest of the day. How insane!!! :puppet

First read, first post...
So, this is the first post I've read on this forum.
Its also the first one I've made.
All I can say is I am SO ready for this! SO, SO, SO ready!!! Hangovers suck, anticipating them sucks worse!
That is kind of also a first. To REALLY want sobriety to last. I want this so bad I can taste it! (I never realized water DOES have a taste until I went 72 hours without it.. what a realization there...)
I guess what I'm saying is it feels cool to find a community of people who are in this same dam stupid sinking boat as I am. (and that there happen to be lifevests aboard said boat if you're willing to put one on)
Anyway, congrats on 25 days, that really is awesome. I never realized I'd get to a point in life where I'd be TRUELY jealous of a person who made it 25 days without a drink. Hell, I made it 19 3/4 years without one, just wish the following "personal record" was more than 2 or 3 months.
Keep it up, that really is cool to hear. I'll be posting on my 25th day too as my first milestone!
