I learned something at my last meeting in regards to handling stressful situations. It's important to remember that our new lives are a constant mental work-out. When we get through a situation (while sober) our brains, emotions, and hearts grow stronger. Back when drinking, we never reaziled our full potential, our full resilience. When a bad situation arose, we drank and stuck it below everything else. Now is our opportunity to sincerely "grow." And then, in our future, when a similar life situation arises we will subconciously sense our ability to overcome it. That's cool! I was like, "yes, that makes sense."
I'm having a rough time right now...incense sounds good.

LOVE this thread, Rowan.
I also enjoy walking or hiking, preferably with a creek or river nearby to meditate with.
I love to get lost in a book...I can read for hours and hours and not think about myself at all. Sometimes, that is a good thing.
Go for a ride on a Harley (or whatever). It is really exciting, feels like flying without drugs!
Focus on my son. Sunday we sat around and played board games together.
