Bottoms Part 13
why the migrane and stiff neck, pd? something you get often?
cops came with a social worker. in our city, they can fine US for not letting her in since this is her legal address. but he didn't tell HER that. we signed the pwork to have a 10 day notice for eviction. and we knew the cop, so it did not arrest us. blah. social worker gave her more numbers to call and feels like her suicide threats are simply positioning. cop gave her a strong talking to and told her if he gets called again because we feel threatened, she breaks something, etc - he will arrest her for domestic violence. and we can get a restraining order. he told her he's stopping by in a day or so and if that she has not had that window fixed - he will reconsider his kindness
she says she's going to outpatient. we'll see..
at least now we really know our rights and have the wheels in motion for the eviction - which takes 90 days and a lawyer, by the way.
so. that's that. don't you just love our legal system? grrrrrrr...

K....
What a mixture of heartache and relief...
I know those feelings well....let go..hang on...what to do...what is the right
thing...
Sometimes (i am finding this out again)..the circumstances just evolve into
what is right.
Love you,
IO

Hi Tad... welcome!!!
Sorry you're not feeling well PD. I hope taking a break for the day helps.
Hi Dee !
Hi Sherry !
K... the wheels of justice. Maybe the slowness will be of everyone's benefit. While you will eventually get some relief, it does give the daughter another incentive to get her act together???
Row the mayor isn't having his people answer my messages today either. Wait! We are his people!!! Time to ring Mrs. Stoney again .

Well, K, it sounds as though you all have clarity about the whole situation, and daughter will know the legal consequences should she return and threaten you all. I'm glad for that, and it sounds like the cop was pretty decent.
Hi Teej, Sherry, Gyps!
Stoney better be at a meeting - that man brings out the codie in me.
I've got relapse prevention in an hour, then home group, so I better get my bottom moving. Love and hugs to all. Extra big hug for K and PD who are both having a tough go of things today. Love you all.
