hey idiots - slammed by storms in chicago. the sun is shining today, the water is pumped out of the basement, the trees are hauled to parkway for city to pick up, we finally have electricity and cable.

aaahhhh....

daughter is laying low. but no plan for staying sober is in place. the calm before the next storm - i'll take it. just for today, k

yes, rowan. police came on thursday and said as long as this is her legal residence, we cannot lock her out. WE'LL get arrested. we're talking to our lawyer about what to do next - to protect ourselves. she's been sober fri and sat and so far today. but she's just white knuckling it, so another blow out is inevitable. her disease is progressing, which i can explain some other time....

right now -- lots of storm clean up to do.

we're ok.
