Girlfriend, do you realize how far you have come??!!
I am impressed and looking forward to chating with ya again...
I was smiling wide, and even had a few tears in my eyes reading your posts, wow!
You are doing the next right thing, whether you feel like it or not, going to work, looking more forward than back.......I know how tough it is in the beginning when we can't trust our emotions and feelings, but we plod along, on step in front of the other.
YOU are going to help alot of people........proud of you!!!

you have no idea how close to losing my life I was. When I finally dragged myself into rehab after being on the streets for months I was fragile to say the least.
Food had lost any importance in my life it was all about the drugs. I was emaciated and severly malnurished.. i gained the weght back noww plus some extra so now I am working on getting rid off some excess weight.
All that is here nor there. The beautiful thing is that I am no longer physically addicted. I have a choice to use or not. Before I had to use or I would get sick.
The next step is to make sure I stay clean and not put myself in harms way.
I have to stay away from the users. THAT IS IT.
When I think back on what I have been through I cant help but think thay I am a person that can help others because of my years of living in hell and then rising above. Slow as it might be taking I am moving forward, slowly upwArd.
