Congratulations...Kevin on almost 2 years and IO Storm for 11 months...it is a one day at a time program, and day by day those days turn into weeks, months and years!
Celebrate!!!
Where's the cake?
My daughter has been my #1 cheerleader and support system...
last year was 5 years and she brought 5 dozen roses to my house and planned a party at my favorite restaurant, in which a bunch of people showed up...
however, I told her that it was a bit over the top...one rose would have been plenty...I had to hide them on the front porch away from the cats so that they wouldn't get eaten...
and that it's really just another day, I don't want all that attention for doing something that I should have been doing all along...
but the gesture was nice...

Kevin, you rock, that two year milestone is a great feeling.
One of my sponsors taught me that after my first year sobriety chips weren't really for me, they were taken to show the newcomers that the program works. I try to sit in the same place every night at my meeting and get to know the names of the newcomers, and to shout the message out to anyone who will listen.

Kevin, TWO YEARS thats BIG! I'm really happy for you!
About the recovery milestones, I've got a 1 month chip, a 2 month, a 90 days and a 6 month chip. If I had known about the 24hrs and 1 week chips I would have got those as well. lol
