We Be Driving!!!

I got my drivers licence back yesterday!!! Time to party (just kidding...)

It cost me $333. I asked the DMV Hearing Officer if I at least got KY Lubricating Jelly with that...

I drove home from the DMV and made sure I gave every cop I saw a big smile and a wave. My Wife (St. Karen) says I'm a dork...

Hang loose, Doc.

Congrats! That's gotta feel good. Just think, as long as you're sober you'll never have to be nervous if/when you ever get pulled over again.

I got my license back and then drank again and now i have another DWI. Don't do what I did. My suggestion is to stay in the program. I lost my humility.

Hey Doc, Way to go.

I'm in the position where I can get mine back too, just have to reapply and take a road test.

The consequences of a DUI turned out to be way more expensive than I initially thought. Lawyers, fines, loss of income, reinstatemnt etc. Just so grateful I didn't hurt anyone.

I hope we'll never have to go through that again.

Ron

Congratulations on getting your driver's license back, I am sure you are happy about that I will be getting my driving privileges back this Friday after a long 2 year suspension from a 2nd DWI, promised myself I will never drink and drive again after going thru not being able to drive.

Needtobesober, congrats on getting your license back... It's great! The way to never drink and drive again is just not to drink in the first place... A lesson I had to learn the hard way.

Hang loose, Doc.

Oh congrats congrats congrats. That is wonderful. I never knew how wonderful it was to drive until I lost my license. Stay my friend and enjoy driving for those of us who can't drive.

i KNOW EXACTLY how you feel - I never realized how much of a privilege it was to drive until I lost mine for 2 years, tomorrow I get to start driving again and I also have an interview! Woohoo!
