((((Bennmenn))))

When you get back online and read this, I just wanted to remind you that we ALL really care about how you're doing.

You know, you never are alone as you stay clean and sober. Each one of us has our own story of experience, strength and hope. We extend that to you now. I am SOO glad you are here, because without YOU, I couldn't keep my gift of sobriety. It works best when shared. Don't quit, okay?

Well the motel thing fell though for the night, they didn't want to accept a credit card called in from my family out of state. I was able to reach one sober living house, he gave me some information. I am going to follow up on a few more. I really didn't like the idea of dorm living. I have been doing that for too long already.

I hear you !!! It will work out..Did you call AA?

You could always have the dorm living thing for a temporary back-up if things get rough where you are.
I'm a bit of a wuss, but I couldn't handle it..but I hear you on the "freedom" thing and having your own space

Great !! Well - at least you have that one place (dorm style) to go to temporarily or just go to bed early if they start driving you nuts where you are. AND you lucky guy - you have all of us !! I think there is an on-line meeting tonight, but I'm not sure..trying to find out

Making It

I am trying to make it tonight and each day after. I am trying to stay positive. I keep getting real depressed and it is hard to recover. I wish I could be with a friend that would just talk. I am going to go to an AA meeting in the morning at 6:00. Thanks for your support

Thank you

I checked on the oxford house. That looks like a real good place. the nearest one to me is Fontana and that is quite far. I am going to look into it somemore.

Keep exploring your options. You and your sobriety are worth it.
