Day 1 clean and sober. Glad I'm not in any pain from yesterday. Sometimes a seizure would make me need ibuprofen to walk around. AA today at 1pm, maybe NA tonight. Probably NA is more important right now. Going in for bloods at 930am. I'll tell the nurse about my seizure and maybe ask can she check for troponin because I think poppers were involved last time I had troponin in my blood. She might ask me to go A and E Suppose it'll be quiet enough in the morning.
Thanks, I am doing well. I have learned that the more days I stay quit the further apart the temptations get. This past Saturday was one of my worst days in a while but I made it because I don't drink. Keeping it simple has helped my quit I think. Different people need different things but simple works best for me. And simple is, I don't drink.
Congratulations, DD! Wonderful achievement!
Good to hear that you are going to your GP, FF.
SS, thanks for the cheer!
RAL, good to see you!
Hello to everyone else!
It is day 177. How time flies! Trying to get some cleaning done, and trying not to think of Molly the dog. We need to make an appointment with the vet, but it is so hard. How can we decide that a life is over? And we can't afford it either...

As far as I am concerned, this is the hardest thing we have to do in life, and I have done it on my own four times, sigh.
It is terribly hard, but it is our responsibility as pet parents. s xxxxxx
And I am sure the vet will be able to let you pay in parts; they are mostly very understanding at this time.
Sending you and your wife and Molly SO much love. s ❤️❤️❤️
I am also getting my blood work done on May 17 , i am taking multivitamins , exercising , trying to sleep 7+ hours every night , trying to do everything i can to make the blood work better , i haven't had a check up in years , i wouldn't be surprised if they find out that i don't even have a liver.

The idea that naltrexone prevents out of control drinking seems true right now.
I drank 400ml of vodka, but I'm stopping it there.. it isn't fun on naltrexone, which is good.
i have cpurt tomorrow for public intox. Im dreading the wait, but i dont care what the judge rules.
My aspirations are to go into maths research, and hopefully a couple of pub intox wont stop that.

Lixie, you both know this is time for Molly. This will be the greatest gift you can give to your beloved Molly. I'm sorry you are having to deal with this.
DD, I'm so glad you see that it gets a bit easier as you get through each craving. Well done!

Lixie - I heard some advice years go that helped put into perspective the decision to let an animal go. Pick three things they love and when you see them either losing interest or unable to do those things it is a quality of life issue. It’s so hard. Thinking of you and Molly.

I am smiling through tears now.
