24 Hour Recovery Connections Part 576
“If you are facing a new challenge or being asked to do something that you have never done before don’t be afraid to step out. You have more capability than you think you do but you will never see it unless you place a demand on yourself for more.” – Joyce Meyer

I got up super early to watch my Aussie football team. And we had a huge, very unexpected win. The team we were playing was the one we were playing the day before my dad died—that was a very emotional day for my sisters and me. We were down by 55 points, and I left the room for a minute, and my sister turned off the game. I told her to turn it back on; I said that we would come back, that the team would do it for dad. And everyone thought I was crazy, but we started to rally, and dad could hear, and he opened his eyes and saw his last football game. He saw his hero save the day, and I heard him shout () "Go Rooey!" one last time.
We won that game by 7 points, and dad died the following day. I messaged the team on FB and told them the story and the team captain answered....all very emotional, again.
This morning, or tonight in Melbourne, Aus, we smashed that team by 51 points with half our team out injured. It was magnificent.
And I love that I could wake up super early, all bright and bushy-tailed on a Saturday morning. Sobriety rocks. ❤️
