24 more please. Roadshow #2 is done. It would never be complete without some IT issues. Yesterdays issue involving an unexplained power blip. That meant that the power was terminated to the podium which hosted all of the audio connections for the phone calls. So halfway through the first phone call we lost all of the people on the call. The only way for me to fix it was to turn on my cell phone and have everybody that was spread out socially distance come crowd around my cell phone. It was a challenging day, but it absolutely lets me practice resilience.
I had to go to bed last night at 8:30 because I was so exhausted.

I am grateful to have a job that challenges me every day. But today I am plain exhausted. My work computer is being a jerk right now and terminating my VDI connection over and over. It makes me very unproductive to keep having to log back in and authenticate my face every time I do.

My husband‘s mom, dad, his brother and my sister-in-law will now be coming to our house for Christmas. I am grateful that they are coming to spend time with the girls but I’m not sure how to handle the sister-in-law. She announced on Thanksgiving day that she was pregnant. But the very next day announced she had a miscarriage. We have not told them we are expecting because I wanted to wait until the ultrasound I have on Friday. I feel uncomfortable announcing at Christmas now.
