Class of March 2016 Part 82
Hey there MITA! (((Waving)))
You are doing great work with your son Bobbie. Good post.
Suzuki! I like just saying Suzuki. Like you should then say “bless you!” Japanese sneeze?
Also had a Suzuki right out of college. Loved that car. Good choice PJ!
I see u as a person Spacegoat. And I like Facebook. I laugh every day by either reading or posting silly things....and an occasional personal post. When I was going through treatment, it was a great way to keep my family and friends updated and to receive lots of love back when I really needed it.
Purp, you doing ok? I’m sorry about your friend.
Had a mammogram and ultrasound yesterday. All good. Now, I hope to be really done with scary tests for awhile. Gearing up for a happy spring and summer!
Love to all,

Love to all,
Glad all tests look good Lillian
Congrats on your new ride PJ! "943 years on the phone" made me lol
(((Bobbie and family)))
Doing okay.....haven't heard about any services yet, and I'm leaning towards "When in doubt, don't" ~ but I donated to their go fund me for the funeral expenses....so if nothing else, at least I did that.
Ready to get through the day without snapping at somebody while at work! The job hunt continues....

Oh.....re Suzuki......it's pronounced really differently here than it is in Aus....I am smiling at you Lillian.....all of the car brands are pronounced differently here....drove me crazy for a while.

My old Honda- same type, colour, was a national news item about this recall.. Serious stuff.
The little Suzi is a bit silly, has a body kit- all the stuff someone going through a midlife crisis might like. I have ******** emotional growth- so it fits I suppose. A friend saw it and said' not much there', as the Honda is huge by comparison. Could not have chosen a much different vehicle. The main important thing it is has a decent sound system.
I keep turning on the wipers to change gears (the Honda had an old column mounted auto shift). All good. I made sure I had enough dosh to get another car if the Honda blew up. A mindful part of recovery. So I can continue my studies- also part of recovery- and do new stuff- like camping (I can still sleep in the Suzi- surprising amount of space with seats down- my feet will sleep in the boot)- as stuff like camping means I am outside my comfort zone (I prefer TV, microwaves, showers and clean toilets) which is also part of my recovery stuff- plus being able to get to meetings.
So grateful and satisfied. With the car- with myself is always a challenge.

Happy Birthday March Class! What kind of startin' fluid shall we have to celebrate
Can you believe it's been 4 years since we joined the March '16 class....somehow it feels longer....maybe 'cause I haven't been trashed the whole time....
Anyway, Thanks friends for being here ~ Hope everyone is having a good weekend

I too, have been reflecting on 4y ago. When I was very, very unwell. I was in less danger of dying in the hospital- with all that technology and caring humans- it was when I got out- and for a time went back to boozing where the real danger was. Not going to get out that old photo album of horrors- but it does make me grateful for who I am- and am becoming, what I do and the friends I have- including the SR family.

Spacegoat 'Anseo' (here)
I've wondered about Casey afew times. Kiki aswell?
Appreciate that more than you know, Lillian. Thank you
Fell asleep reading this thread the other night. Lots of ups and downs here. That's life I guess.
Went out to an al-anon meeting this evening. It got more from me than I did from it, for sure.
I've actually been suffering a lot with anxiety & PTSD. Have to start doing things about that
Nearly 2am here folks, so, goodnight
