What a football game last night! My alma mater is LSU so I知 happy they pulled out a win last night. Fabulous game.
Currently snuggling on the couch with my babes looking up Thanksgiving recipes that are gluten free, dairy free, corn free and nightshade free. Now husbands parents and brother/sister are coming down to our house for Thanksgiving and It looks like I need to make the dinner for all, as well as figure out where they are going to sleep. This really stresses me out. I still have my townhouse and I知 thinking that I will need to let someone stay there.
I wrote down a plan but no matter how hard I try, this creates anxiety beyond my capacity to handle.
I知 off from work tomorrow and have an appointment to get new snow tires. Husband told me last night that when he gets his Christmas bonus he will buy me a new car. I really don稚 know how I feel about this. I worked so hard to buy my own car after we had a falling out and he took my car away from me. While not new, it痴 something I bought. Lots on my mind right now but I知 not going to drink and I知 checking in for 24 more.

1new - what a game...I'd keep Tide at #3...awesome team.
treesofgreen - I think your hubby is happy there will be no nightshade lol...I know it's also includes tomato, potato, peppers...watching Badgers and LSU at same time was awesome.
VoVo - Big hugs...I've been there also with my parents...so glad you are sober. That's all that my Mother wanted...to know I was sober.
Badgers did good. Hope the Packers follow suit.
1New - Baltimore -- been there several times, an NA convention, a meeting, at a family's for thanksgiving...didn't get any sightseeing in though.

Maybe your husband is trying to apologise for taking the car away back then dear Trees. Perhaps you can talk to him about how you feel? It might help a little with all of the stress.

Hey everyone, forgot to check in last night but I知 here, and all is well...
I壇 like to check in for another 24 hours of sobriety if I may, only a couple more days to my 6 month mark. No question that I値l get there, and I知 very grateful.
Need some freedom from self will and a bit of a steer in the right direction. I知 hoping that an early night and a good sleep will contribute towards that, I need to reset and regroup before the working week begins tomorrow morning.
