Morning Julyers

It doesn’t seem two minutes since you two were wittering about it being too cold! And I was moaning about being too hot! Time to swap.

It never fails to amaze me the power of the internet. We’re able to converse with thousands of miles in between. I would’ve never met you guys if there was no internet, and a sobering thought, I would probably still be a drunk!

Yay for the World Wide Web.

Here’s our far we all are.

Exhibition take down today at the hospital. Last time to show that art-about-the-past. I have been invited to do an exhibition at city community centre next year- which will be about positive stuff in the here and now. Time to put the past to bed.

PJ, is that a factory that makes boxes or in the shape of one, or neither?

Hiya Julyers, just popping in before I settle down for the night. Love to you all. xx

Mags- it is a community centre in the city- which way, long time ago- was a box factory. It is an eccentric old building that has the original name on it- so it was kept.

Morning Julyers from a cold dark and wet U.K.

Luckily I feel opposite though I understand the dark mornings and evenings can get you down. We call it the doldrums.

A stray kitty I’ve been feeding for the last few months rushed in when I opened the door over the weekend. She was soaking wet, skinny, scraggy and cold. I’ve fed her and flead her and put some cat blanket throws for her to sleep on. My two other cats are very wary of her and giving her a wide berth, but she just wants to sleep bless her.
I don’t think she’s probably ever slept soundly before.

So I’m getting short of cat food, what with the other stray that comes to feed too. I thought hubby would object but he’s been supportive of the kitty. Which was a surprise. A pleasant one though.

I hope everyone is keeping well. xx

I’m all good, Snooz. A bit overloaded at work. Trying to balance looking after myself.
Ill be in the same neck of the woods as Mags in a few weeks, but other than that, just trying to keep sane right now.
My friends are doing ok. One got the all clear after her lung cancer was removed. My best friend has had more removed, but tells me she’s ok. I’m dubious.
