Good morning, Overs!

Joining you with my coffee in hand. Sassy kitty is doing well. She was bullied by her three littermates and a one-year-old boy so she practically inhales her food instantaneously. She seems content :-)

Have a good day to all

I went to my widow/ers group yesterday, we had two new members. The lady lives just around the corner from the school where Chris worked. She said she hears the teachers and children in the play ground.
Then the kids and I went to see my FIL, it was his birthday on Friday (81).

Have a good day everyone.

I am so glad you are going to that group dear Andy. ❤️

Hi Sassy love. ❤️

evening overs, I finally heard about my MRI, everything is fine, my pain is just a result of old age and gravity. so continuing with the physical therapy. they do a procedure called "dry needling" its like acupuncture with electricity which seems to be helping, a lot of discomfort for the next two days but after that I can feel a difference.

went flea marketing today found some more projects to keep me busy for awhile, but can you really have to many projects?,,,, hmmm don't think so.

take care all, much love

Lori

Morning Overs

Badge, that’s great news! I’m with you in the old age stuff.

Hiya Wolfie love

Andy, I’m pleased your part of the widow/er group.

So I didn’t get out yesterday but I’ve gotta go out this morning to collect my prescription. And then pop in B&M for a couple of bits.

Have a good Monday my friends xxxx

Hi Overs! Life is grand and no amount of creaks and aches can dim it at all! As we say in Louisiana - Laissez le bon temps rouler! I have relaxed now that the tractor is gone! Now I'm starting to organize what stays and what goes. And am deciding on trailer or just leave everything and only take the personal stuff. We video chat every day with our Motorola Z3s.

Ha cha cha backatcha Dee!

Mags,
Glad you're feeling better. Getting the relaxation response is a good thing you have. I'm glad your hubster got off that med. I hope the doc can find a better one that works.

Andy,
I'm glad you caught it. It's great you can regulate with diet. I had to look it up.

Star,
You and me both!

FBL,
That's great news, the FB videos sound fun! Your online recovery meetings sound exactly right for recovery too.

Sassy,
Yep lighter by the day! You sound more light hearted too since you got Sassy Kitty! Stronger.

Lori,
I'll bet you're relieved at the negative results of your MRI.

Wolf!
Hey man! Did you see that Peaky blinders is back with a new season. I am binge watching Raising Dion on Netflix.

Y'all have a great week!

Hiya Wolfie!

Itchy, you sound so much more at ease, and deservedly so!

Can't sleep, so might as well be productive and start the day early.

Enjoy the day all!

Yay, Sassy Kitty!

CK and Wolfie, thanks for checking in! Hope all is well with you both.

Finally some colder weather is settling in. Actually had to turn the heat on over the weekend. I just love this time of year!

Have a Magnificent Monday, overs!

Badge, getting creaky isn’t fun but still better than needing surgery. Happy to hear your MRI result was good.

Hi Wolfie!

Thanks, Suze

Itchy, soon you and your SH won’t even need to do your video chats!

FBL, cooler weather here too - for the past week. Love it.

Hi to all and have a lovely day.

Morning Overs.

Suze, all the best on your exam today! We will be thinking of you. xx

It’s a wet morning here today

I’m taking mum in law to department store to chose her birthday gift. It’s so hard getting the right thing I suggested she chose it herself.

I received letters for my next two hospital appointments. The first one is on Friday 25th, next week.ive been given instructions of asthma medication I have to cut out 4, 3, 2, 1 days before then 8 hours before stop taking my inhalers.this is for my lung function test without the aid of meds.

I won’t be going far from next Monday that’s for sure. They said if I get breathless to take the meds but they’ll have to move my appointment which will only delay my future treatments. I figure if I go carefully I can manage with as long as I have my inhaler. The nurse gave me a face mask to attach to my ventolin which, if needed works pretty much like a nebuliser. I’ll manage with that for four days. My appointment is for 10.15am so hopefully no mishaps to prevent me having the lung tests.

All is well, I hope you are well in your part of the universe.

Have a good Tuesday my friends xxxx

I am finding myself continually up with my friends across the pond.

Morning Andy!

I hope things go well for you Mags. Breathing issues are very scary.

Best wishes for a good day all!
