23:41 EDT and another 24 for me!
Trying - really trying - to sleep without the help of OTC sleep aids and failing miserably. On melatonin #3. (3 mg ea) tonight as 5:30 AM comes early and part of the problem is when I get less than 7 hours I start nodding at 3 PM or so, prompting a coffee run, which must be contributing to my current sleepless evening. Oh well - grateful, as always, to be sober, and I may be tired tomorrow but I won’t be hungover 😵

Just a thought.....maybe take some fruit to work with you and when you feel sleepy, eat an orange. Or something. It might help without putting caffeine in your system that late in the day. ♥

Looking for another 24 please. I like the quote abcowbo, very true. Some days it feels like a grind to always keep the lights on so to speak in terms of effort and awareness, but I'm finding it continues to seem a little easier over time.

I’m starting g to feel good about my self again. The self-loathing is starting to disappear. Drinking would only drag me back down into the abyss. Here’s to another sober day.
