As things usually do when you're upset about not getting what you want, I have a better perspective about things and am feeling better. Some things are beyond our control, and I have to do better at accepting that fact with grace and not with any lasting resentment. I was thinking selfishly.

Very sorry to hear what you went through Guener, but since your still sober that’s all that matters coz then we can handle anything that life throws us
Happy camper, I learned early in sobriety that it’s a lot easier staying sober than trying to; have you tried AA or anything else?

Good morning. Thank you for the help yesterday. Feeling better this morning—going to hold things in check today so I don’t feel tempted. If I get overwhelmed like that again I will go home early. Not worth it.
