Good move FG. You will be v happy in the morning.
I had A Moment too....
all the usual triggers, frustrated with what I'm trying to do, getting nothing done, tired, ongoing issues etc, hot afternoon, could just step out of the world entirely until early afternoon Wednesday. No one would know anything about what I'm doin, etc etc....

AV quite gone yet......but I'll get through it.

Yay Canguy! 🙂

Back to work today. Three crazy days of work then I知 off to Colorado for a few days. If I remember correctly from the last time I was there, all I値l want to drink is water. (The elevation makes flatlanders like me thirsty. Drinking water wards off altitude sickness.) They recommend avoiding alcohol - no problem there!

Morning G'hogs

Up and into Tuesday. Grey, cool morning, which is a nice change for here.
Another day in sober land. Sometimes it feels all a bit flat and samey.....but I guess we've all been so used to the massive swings and crashes of the drinking life.
Seem to be going through a "ok, what's next?" stage?

Anyway.

Good you still here Lastchance. I read here everyday, but often its difficult to find something to say. Thanks FG....this place can just provide that occasional nudge to keep you heading in the right direction. And congratulations on the month Evoo.
Day 37. ......just keep plodding along for a bit.

Have a good day....

Hi everyone, thought I would check in and say hello. I have been feeling so OFF the past 2 days. I hate it. One minute I am angry, the next minute I am crying, the next minute I am exhausted, the next minute I am laughing then depressed, then anxious and so on. It really sucks. Unfortunately the bad feelings seems to outweigh the good right now. I'm hope it's just the end-of-winter blues. (praying)

Anyway...I have tried everything to feel good today and it isn't working. I exercised, did Yoga, ate healthy meals....hmmm...maybe it's time for a nap?

Sobriety is not for whimps! I can't wait until it gets to the good part. HOW IS EVERYONE ELSE FEELING???

Day 28.

Today, I am glad I did.

G地ight all.
Glad you didn't drink Foie! You definitely would hate yourself right now. Good job thinking it through!

the first 30 days were pretty up and down for me emotionally Addy - the second 30 days from 30-60 were a lot better - hope you find that too

Pleasure. I知 going for a competition, but also plan on doing a little sightseeing. I booked a tour up Pikes Peak and also want to visit the Air Force Academy.

I知 sorry that you are struggling. I hope things level out for you. If I had a solution I壇 share but unfortunately....

Hi Addy, sorry to hear you are struggling. The hardest part I find is to occupy the time where drink would have been involved. Keep yourself busy. Before you know it , it will get easier

Hang in there Addy. Everyone says it gets better. But even at this early stage it feels way better than being hungover.
Can't say I get swings of mood......just find I get a bit flat. Should have more energy or something.
