Thanks Dee!

Hey all, we went from mid 60s to 36° F (2.22 C) overnight. We did the yard Wed and Thurs in T-shirts, today parkas!

Y'all in the path of that storm hitting the East Coast now stay warm and safe.

Have a nice weekend Overs.

Thanks Dee,

Itch, i think we’re heading for snow too, it’s really cold in the morning but at least there’s some sun shining through occasionally.

I don’t know why but I find it really interesting when we talk about the climate in our different parts of the world, and it can be freezing here and melting temperatures in land of Oz. I guess that’s why there’s a lot of U.K. ‘ers week winter sun.

Have a good Sunday my friends

Lucky here Itchy. The storm shifted fifty miles north and now we have rain instead of snow and ice. Sometimes things work out.

36 degrees must feel like the Arctic for the locals around you Itchy.

Mags,
Do you guys get a lot of snow there?

Star,
I'm sure you're glad it did go north. 36 isn't a shock, we get teens and 20s for a week or three every winter. The humidity's a killer here. Are you getting icy Roads now? Mountains and icy roads are a PITA.

Oh well, TTYL

Good morning Overs.

Mags gets more snow than me, I live in a snow desert. The UK has the beast from the east promised.

Have a good day everyone.

Thanks for the new part, Dee.

We got the snow, now comes the cold. It's only 5F here this morning...at least it's still ABOVE zero!

Itchy, no we don’t get too much, toots is further up and gets much more than I do. When it comes here it doesn’t usually last too long. I’m midway towards the east when you look at UK map.

Andy, I imagine you get much better weather than us, warmer that is.

FBL, it doesn’t seem many weeks since you had snow!

Usually once we’ve had it that’s it doe another year.

Listening to a bit of Cat Stevens.

Thanks for the new thread Dee! Just quickly popping in before heading bedwards for a good night's sleep ahead of an early start for work and dropping off my partner at his mother's (so he can take her to a pre-op assessment appointment)

Great itch, I think toots is about right, I’m up from Sheffield, near the river Trent, (it’s just down the road), in between Sheffield and the mouth of the river Humber. I think Andy is a bit lower down.

Toots, I’m the underside of the Humber estuary, in Lincolnshire, but just about right.

How’s the moving going toots? Trouble free I hope!

Good morning Overs.

Toots I'm amazed at your map tweaking skills at 6:29 in the morning

If we have snow we know the rest of the UK is up to it's neck in the stuff.

Have a good day everyone.

Have a good Monday overs

I didn’t see the blood wolf moon last night, too cloudy and now foggy! Roll on spring!

Thanks Mags! I have a general idea now.

Me too Star. That's why I did the map with my best guess as to area.

Hey guys we had the Super Blood Wolf moon eclipse yesterday evening. Perfect weather and clear skies here. Magnificent spectacle. We won't get another for 18 years here. It started at 9:30pm and was over by midnight, just a couple of hours ago.

I hope everyone interested got to watch the two playoff games tonight. They battled to a tie in both games going into Sudden death overtime. I grew up in my teens in New England, CT specifically. So my Saints lost, and my New England Patriots won! Soon we will be Bronco fans in Colorado.

Thanks for the map, folks! It helps with the visualization.

We got (so far) much less snow than expected but it looks cold and windy.

Have a good Monday :-)

Love the map idea! We should do one for us here in the US.

It's a balmy 1F here this morning. At least there's no wind, which helps.

Have a Marvelous Monday, overs!
