Its still raining here in my SoCal beach town! Its a miracle or at least it will seem like a miracle until there is major flooding, mud slides ...

Continuing to stay dry despite the rain so another 24 for me please.

Wow! So lovely to log in here and read all the messages of support after my experience with the laughing-over-spilt-milk brigade yesterday. Thank you everyone. You guys really are the best. There's so much love in this place. So happy to be part of it.
Three of my kids have this awful sickness bug that's doing the rounds. Luckily I can work from home today so I can look after them. Usually these three kids are so loud and energetic ….(I have one quieter daughter... she's the only one at school today)…. but these three sick ones, they are usually LOUD and they are always running everywhere. Usually I spend half my life telling them to slow down and lower the volume. And now they're sick. And I can't wait for them to turn up the volume. It's really weird seeing them so quiet. They're watching a movie at the moment. In silence. No fighting, no laughing, no re-enacting of action scenes, no jumping behind the sofa..... just silence. I'll be so happy when they start driving me nuts again.

Congratulations to everyone celebrating a milestone today and 24 more for me please xxxx

And I just realised that the only one of my kids who doesn't have the sickness bug is the quieter one who practices reiki, crystals and mindfulness. Hmmmm xxxx

Is your daughter 10 yet kenton love? The one who isn't sick? I think about her....how on earth did that happen....as in how incredible that a 9 year old girl would be into all of that. It is very special.

Mind you....I am sure they are all very special....hope they get better fast and start driving their mum crazy again.

Hi Suze!

My spiritual daughter turned 10 at the beginning of January and yes, it is a total mystery why she's into all that. No one else in the family is. And whilst I'm becoming a little more spiritual now, I was never into any of that when I was a kid. What I love is how the other 3 kids are so accepting of how she is. Bearing in mind, how different they all are. One of my boys, in particular, is super boisterous but he is totally respectful of my daughter's crystals and he always gives her silence when she wants to practice mindfulness. He was so proud of her when she did her Reiki level one that he took her Reiki certificate into his class for show and tell. My daughter was a bit nervous about it... she understands that not everyone is like her and some people may mock her beliefs etc. She likes to keep it to herself. But my son was so proud of her certificate, he wanted to show his class. She said to him, 'but what if people laugh at you?' He said, 'so what?' Then she said, 'But what if people laugh at me?' And he said, 'No one's going to laugh at you. They know I'm your brother!' Totally love that he supports and respects her.... they all do. I'm doing Reiki level 2 with her on March 10th. The Reiki master reckons she's an 'old soul'. I just feel very grateful and blessed to have them all in my life. And you too, Suze. I'm so lucky to know you xxxx

Thanks Stubbs! They're all in bed asleep now so fingers crossed they sleep well and feel recovered in the morning. Kids tend to bounce back quick from stuff. Lots of love to you xxx
